Event Description:
Join us for a dynamic creative arts community event that gives voice to the experiences, resilience, & struggles of Liberty City residents.

 

The two-hour Liberty City community event is a creative arts showcase of residents sharing their perspectives on race, risk, and resillence under the weight of the inequalities surrounding disaster and economics. 

Community artists and residents will share their experiences and insights through oral histories, performances, and various art mediums. Refreshments will be served.

6:00 - 7:00 pm ARTWALK Featuring Liberty City Artists (appetizers served)

7:00-8:00 pm Creative Arts Program Featuring community groups, theater, and individuals artistically sharing their experiences.
