Event Description:
Senior vaccines and booster doses will be available all day but the Village has reserved the first hour of each event (from 9 AM to 10 AM) exclusively for seniors (65+).
Vaccines for individuals who are 12 years old and up, including boosters, will be administered from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This will be a walk-up site; no appointment is needed. It is recommended you come before 2 PM, if possible.
Vaccines for children ages 5 - 11 will be administered from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
Additionally, parents or guardians must complete the consent form (found here). Frequently asked questions: · This site is open to the general public; it is not limited to Key Biscayne residents. · After receiving the vaccine, patients will be asked to stay under observation for 15 minutes.
*Please note that the appointments are to ensure the Department of Health has adequate staffing to administer vaccines; appointments do not guarantee the exact time you will be seen by a nurse.
