Right whales of the North Atlantic Ocean are the rarest of the great whales, clinging to existence on the very brink of extinction, threatened by entanglement in fishing gear and the insidious effects of climate change.  Come hear Dr. Mayo speak about the whales' checkered history and his research to protect this important species.

Lecture begins at 6 pm followed by h'oeuvres and wine reception
