This presentation will cover lifecycle of plastics and why they are so prevalent in today’s society. Learn about the different solutions for this crisis and how you can make a difference to improve our world.
Sofia Mesa is a full time student at the University of Miami and the current Chef Andrew Scholar Program Director for Debris Free Ocean. The Chef Andrew Program serves as an internship for college students to learn about plastic pollution, educate others via presentations, coordinate beach cleanups, and provide business consulting for companies in the Miami area.

Refreshments will be served.
