Mindfulness is a powerful quality of the mind. It means paying attention to the present moment experiences with curiosity, openness and the willingness to be with what is, without judgment. Mindfulness is a practice based on simple techniques everyone can learn in order to enjoy life to its fullest, while at the same time feeling more relaxed and responsive to everyday challenges. Open Mindfulness is a community event designed to bring together people who want to enjoy deeply all the city has to offer. More than an inner experience, it´s done in open and public spaces inviting the public to have a taste of what it means to be mindful and connected with the city and to see, feel and engage with the urban and natural landscape in a different and exiting way. During this one hour experience, Eli Bravo will offer the foundations of the practice through engaging exercises, group dynamics and meditations to help you focus your attention in the “here and now”. Moreover, you will be able to enjoy the beautiful ocean view and breeze of the Key Biscayne Beach Park. No experience necessary. Please bring a Mat and water.
