It's the one day a year we put aside to remember fallen heroes and to pray that no heroes will ever have to die for us again. It's a day of thanks for the valor of others, a day to remember the splendor of America, Key Biscayne, and a day to be with the family.

The program will include:
  • The Village of Key Biscayne Police and Fire Rescue Color Guard
  • Keynote speakers from the Village and Miami-Dade County
  • Cadets from MAST Academy Coast Guard Jr. Leadership Program
  • A Ceremonial Laying of the Wreath in remembrance of those who have died in service to our country.
  • Prayer and reflection of our nation's military and their families.
  • Historical interpretations and reading of "In Flanders Fields".
  • The selling of poppies to give financial, social, and emotional support to members and veterans of the armed forces.
  • Patriotic Songs: National Anthem and God Bless America

All are welcomed to this community event to honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
