The First Family of Key Biscayne: The Davises, Island Lovers & Stewards -- In the late 1800s, the pioneering owners built and moved into the first waterfront home on Key Biscayne named Cape House. The family traces their island holdings back 200 years. They left a long legacy of environmental and historic stewardship for us to discover and, in the 21st century, to draw upon as we face new decisions on our low-lying barrier island.
