Celebrate earth day with Miami Waterkeeper at our biggest & most collaborative event yet! join us at historic virginia key beach park for a day of action & connection featurine a marine debbris clean-up, native planting with Frost MUVE, interactive art activations, and opportunities to engage with 15+ community organizations serving South Florida.

IMPORTANT VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

Please be on time as registration begins 30 minutes before the volunteer workday starts. Please arrive at 9:00am. Bring:

  • Refillable water bottle. Stay hydrated and be prepared to work outside and in the water.

  • Closed-toe shoes/water shoes are required and long-sleeved shirts are recommended (shorts and clothes that can get wet).

  • A hat, sunblock, and insect repellent (recommended).

  • Gloves and trash grabbers (if you have them, otherwise the Miami Waterkeeper will provide all supplies).

  •  The event will take place from 9:00am-12:00pm but you are welcome to leave anytime! It will be at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park.  

  • Parking is provided free of charge. Let the gate attendant know you are here for a beach clean-up and you will be let in for free.
