Citizen Scientist Project Lecture Series: The Incredible Horseshoe Crab

Ana Zagroniz serves as the Florida Sea Grant Extension Agent in Miami-Dade County. Her focus is coastal and marine resources of Miami-Dade; she delivers programming that is audience-specific and addresses the needs of both the environment and local stakeholders. Her major program areas include: promoting healthy habitats and ecosystems, and improving marine and environmental literacy and stewardship. Ana works most frequently with fishermen, the boating community, scuba divers, and natural resource managers. This presentation will cover basic horseshoe crab biology and the UF/IFAS & FWC Horseshoe Crab Watch Program. In person and via Zoom!
