EARTH DAY EVENT PERFORMANCES & WORKSHOPS CATEURA RECYCLED ORCHESTRA FROM PARAGUAY
APRIL 27 9AM - 12:30PM
A spectacular inclusive Earth Day event is in the works. We welcome all ages and abilities to join us on April 27, 2025 from 9AM to 12:30PM at Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park, Area A.
We will welcome Favio Chávez, and his orchestra from Paraguay. The orchestra creates beautiful music using instruments made entirely from recycled materials found in the landfill itself. What began with just 10 students in a makeshift shed has blossomed into a program serving over 200 youth that has traveled the world over to perform and share their story.
We welcome the orchestra to our park for a day of music and creativity as we experience new inspiring ways to turn our own trash into treasured experiences.
