Event Description:
Scholarship students from our month-long "Summer by the Sea" camp in Crandon Park are sharing their photography to bring happiness and joy to patients of the Holtz Children's Hospital.
Last summer the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Biscayne Nature Center hosted 40 students from the Miami Children's Initiative in Liberty City and the START Program of West Coconut Grove. Under the guidance of Center for Visual Communication and photography instructor Jahaira Galvez, the elementary school students made a series of photographs to document aspects of their environment and culture.
