Event Description:




The following road closures will occur on Sunday, January 29th, 2023, for the 21st Annual Life Time Miami Marathon and Half Marathon. The race will begin at 6 AM at the Miami-Dade Arena downtown and will proceed to Miami Beach via the MacArthur Causeway up Ocean Drive, over the Venetian Causeway, and as far south as Coconut Grove.
Location:

Downtown/Brickell:           5:00 am – 2:00 pm
MacArthur Cswy EB:          5:00 am – 8:15 am
Miami Beach Area:             5:00 am – 10:00 am
Venetian Cswy:                   6:00 am – 10:00 am
Rickenbacker:                     6:30 am – 12:00 pm
Coconut Grove Area:          7:00 am – 1:00 pm

 

We recommend all those wishing to enter to enter or exit Miami Beach between 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM utilize the Julia Tuttle Causeway. Roads will be closed and managed by Miami, Miami Beach, Miami Dade County Police Departments who will assist traffic through intersections between gaps of runners. Subject to change.

MIAMI AVE- Southbound From SE 1st Street to SW 1st Ave from 6:30 AM- 10:35 AM -SE 5TH STREET - Eastbound from SW 1st Ave to Brickell Avenue from 6:35 AM- 10:45 AM -BRICKELL AVE - Southbound from SE 5th Street to SW 15th Road/Broadway from 6:35 -AM- 10:50 AM -BRICKELL AVE - Northbound from SW 15th Road/ Broadway to SW 26th Road 6:40 AM- 11:10 AM -RICKENBACKER CAUSEWAY - EB/WB from SW 26th Road to West Powell Bridge from 6:40 AM to 11:10 AM -SOUTH MIAMI AVENUE- Northbound from US 1 to MCFarlane Road from 6:50 AM to 12:30 PM
