Run, Walk, Hike for a #StrongerMiami - Let’s Get Moving Virtually!
This virtual race allows you to participate from wherever you are. You just step outside your door and complete the distance, or hop on a treadmill. However you complete it is up to you. Once completed, you enter your finish time into your Haku account. Results will be published on October 4th.
Event Kick-Off: September 27 at 9:00am on Facebook Live
Proceeds from the race will support 100 quality programs at 56 impact partners and grantees strengthening the education, financial stability and health of Miami-Dade County.
You will receive:
Get fit on your time. The virtual fitness challenge encourages you to train for the run/walk by running 10 miles to cross City of Miami or 45 miles to cross Miami-Dade County from Sept 1 - 26. Complete the distance a little at a time, or all at once. It’s up to you! In September, they will share weekly FaceBook tips from experts.
You can also support United Way by creating your own fundraising page. Exciting prizes will be awarded to the top three highest fundraisers.
